AZUB MINI

Balance – there is no better word that would sum up all the properties of the AZUB MINI. Even the first glance confirms it. The two 20” wheels give the bike a symmetrical appearance, offset by a functional solution in the form of the asymmetric rear fork and the location of its shock. The seating position is a perfect combination of comfort and sportiness. The total height of the bike offers both the low seating of a sporty recumbent and the ample view of what is happening around you. The overall dimensions of the AZUB MINI then make it an ideal bike for playful and nimble weaving through the city streets, but the long wheelbase gives it a surprising stability.

AZUB Ibex

AZUB Ibex is one of the few recumbents that gives you both the suspension and the 26” wheels, and in addition, a relatively low seating position combined with a solid front suspension popular in mountain bikes. During the building process, we use many other components from the world of the classic MTBs, such as cranks with integrated axle, beautiful light and, above all, functional rims in combination with disc brakes, or even pretty original shifters. What is more, we use them even when mounted on the underseat steering (USS). You will not find such fully ergonomic solutions on a rival recumbent.

AZUB Apus

The combination of a 20” front wheel and a 26” rear wheel can be considered a typical European concept of a recumbent bike. Even the very first AZUB bike was built in this way. This design makes recumbents compact and the seat is not only low enough for easy mounting and safe stopping, but you also sit high enough to have a good view of what goes on around you. In addition, the choice of components for 26” wheels are also extensive and so it is particularly easy to find the right combination of gears, easier than say for 24” or 20” wheels. A large rear wheel also improves the riding comfort on bad roads or in light terrain. The Apus is an excellent bike for recumbent novices, suitable for leisurely touring but will also withstand tough daily use.

AZUB Origami

A recumbent like AZUB Origami will be very hard to find anywhere in the world. The long wheelbase and tuned geometry of the frame give it excellent riding properties both in slow pedalling through a city and in fast descents. You will also be pleased with the array of smart solutions there are, such as the possibility to secure the bike after folding, the integrated rack or the space under the seat to fit a specially designed triangular bag. Not to mention the folding system that turns the Origami into a small bag easily transported by car, train or even plane. In short, the Origami is just right for small spaces and it does not really matter whether you come across them while weaving through a city or looking into the boot of your car.

AZUB Twin

All it takes is one look at our Twin and it is perfectly clear that this bike will withstand even the harshest conditions. However, you will appreciate its main characteristics even on short trips. They include the low seating position of the front rider, two truly recumbent positions of both riders, as stiff frame contributing to the stability and safety of riding, and the sturdy folding mechanism. In our opinion, AZUB Twin is the best recumbent tandem in the world. A bike with a long wheelbase that provides a stable ride, dual rear suspension for maximum comfort even with large loads, extremely stiff yet folding frame; a bike which we will build for you according to your requirements in either the swift version with beautiful Truvativ Firex cranks and Shimano XT components, or in the heavy duty version with the 14-speed gearbox in the Rohloff hub and a set of racks able to carry up to four sets of rear cycling bags!
